Ryan Fell

Ryan fell

I’ve know Ryan for a few years now and my most poignant memory was chatting to him at PCA Manchester 2023. He had just come off stage, was experiencing horrendous cramps and felt horrendous. After some discussion back and forth I told Ryan it was due to how he had been peaked and what I would have done differently.

A couple months later Ryan reach out and asked if I would prep him for a few shows towards the back end of the Scottish season. I of course jumped at the opportunity and we got straight to work. I introduced a few different tools that Ryan had never used before and it really brought his physique to life, getting fuller and more muscled whilst simultaneously getting leaner. His physique completely transformed across his prep and by the time we got to the first show his bodyweight had remained unchanged.

This prep also meant so much more than trophies as two days into dieting Ryan tragically lost his father. We had a chat, in which I had said to stop prep before it had even begun but Ryan insisted he wanted to continue and dedicate the prep to his dad. That takes an enormous amount of strength and courage to do and I know is dad would have been so proud.

Across the three shows we did Ryan collected:

1 x 1st
1 x 2nd
1 x 3rd

Here is what Ryan had to say about his journey:

“Embarking on our first season with Coach Vaughan at the helm was a transformative experience that exceeded all expectations. His expertise and strategic approach propelled us to remarkable heights, securing a first place victory at NFM Scotland, a stellar second place finish at UKUP Scotland, and an impressive third place at PCA North East.

Vaughan’s exceptional ability to provide prompt and detailed feedback has been a cornerstone of our success. His rapid responses to check-ins ensured that our progress was consistent and our goals, attainable. His meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of our training reflected his deep understanding of what it takes to excel in the sport.

What truly distinguishes Vaughan is his passionate commitment to bodybuilding. His enthusiasm is not just motivational; it’s the lifeblood that fuels our collective ambition. His passion is evident in every plan, every piece of advice, and in the unwavering support he offers to each athlete.

As we celebrate our achievements and set our sights on future goals, we are immensely thankful for Vaughan’s guidance. He is more than a coach; he is an inspiration, a driving force, and the architect of our achievements.

Thank you Vaughan, for igniting the champion within us and for your dedication that knows no bounds.”
